Good news! Wordpress 2.3 RC1 released today. I had done some test and it seems alright. According to the official blog, it’s next Monday, 24th Sep. that wordpress 2.3 stable is going to release on.
You may be curious that why I use English. The answer that I have to practice my English cause I’m going to travel around the world is of course not true. The reason why I just type English is : my blog is weird lately. The RSS feed has broken. All Chinese characters are not shown right. All characters of my articles in RSS readers turned to be a lot of question marks. Sh*t! It doesn’t look good!

Since it’s only Chinese characters that became question marks. English is still fine. I decide to practice my English with writing in English so that my readers would not see a lot of question marks in RSS readers.
I’ll fix the RSS feed once the wordpress 2.3 stable is out. And the theme will change definitely. Below is some sentiment of mine after I do a little test about the wordpress 2.3.
- wordpress 2.3 has a new tag function like the famous plugin “Ultimate Tag Warrior”. Except not that functional. You cannot edit a tag just to let all tags in all post with the tag would change synchronously. You cannot assign synonyms and tidy tags. What you can do is convert categories to tags and convert tags in Ultimate Tag Warrior to wordpress core tag system.
- I don’t know if I have to / should actually reinstall (means delete all the files/databases after making a backup and an export file) the wordpress. And it seems to be necessary to give the themes a big change. If there’s a patch that would be good. But I think reinstall it is better since there’re too many differences between 2.2 and 2.3.
Last but not least, my English is not good. If you find some wrong grammar or spelling, which I think there’s a lot, or any error you may see, please tell me. I’d appreciate it.

check out ur wp-db in mysql ,
if u just update something about ur mysql and charset encoding setting has be gone …
maybe u can trick it by put a line before wp’s mysql query function :
mysql_query(”SET NAMES ‘UFT8′”);
(if u can edit ur wp’s php code.)

Your RSS made by feedburner doesn’t work for me too, but the original ones made by wordpress (like … http://burabura/?feed=rss2 or ?feed=comments-rss2) work correctly on the reader I use.
I think you should check the registration of feedburner again.
